I discovered yoga in 2007 and it was a revelation, a deep transformation on both mentally, physically & philosophically.
I used to be an expert consultant on climate change in support of African countries. Passionate about my work and guided by my desire to have an impact on those major-vital issues, I was confronted with population dismay and a feeling of complete helplessness on a daily basis. I started to suffer from this more and more. Yoga has taught me to manage those emotions and to find a balance.
I completed my yoga teacher training in Hatha yoga, Vinyasa and then the Integral yoga which helped me to discover, understand and respect my body. A deeper inner search began, through advanced pranayama and meditation techniques as well as energy practices. After this I trained in pre and postnatal yoga. My practice, more and more focused on subtle energy work, led me to become interested in linkages and synergies between yoga and Ayurveda. Amazed by the power of these practices and to help relieve everyday people, I attended trainings in Therapy and Ayurvedic massages and Therapeutic yoga.
My classes are influenced by the Indian tradition and focus on the realization of harmony and balance, the principles at the heart of yoga: between body and mind; between postures and breathing; between strength and flexibility; between stability and lightness.
Learn to develop, regardless of the physical intensity of practice and mental tensions, a constancy, an anchor and a deep calm. Being present to oneself. With the breath as a link.
I am convinced that yoga and meditation are the key to move forward with a little more harmony and solidarity towards new development pathways satisfactory for all.
